Demon Souls on Subscription

Morning, I have a subscription on a couple of accounts and noticed i only get 1 demon soul for every blue mob killed. Shouldn't this be 2 points per kill with a subscription? I have tested this on multiple accounts / characters and still only 1.
I need the points as ive started hitting the GP caves but getting the points back is a struggle.

How many souls do you have at the moment? If over 1000 each kill gets -1 compared to what you normally get, and if over 3000 is -2

For example if a boss is meant to give 6, subscription will make it +1 so it's 7, then if you have over 3000 it will be -2 so you'd get 5. Hope that makes sense

Yup another scam by the gm.

Dude relax lol. Its not a scam it was well advertised when the change was made. I lost about 15000 that day and was upset about it for about 10 minutes. Play more in non premium areas and you'll never be short

So why keep punishing the well off.
Not everyone wants to spend them all at once.
Why tax the savers?
Give me a justified reason that the amount you get per kill is slashed in half once you hit 1k???

There’s no justified reason other than to make it harder for people who put more effort into the game. It’s a kick in the bollocks whatever way u look at it.

GM has made it clear he's keen on the 'use it or lose it' policy. Hence the timer on gems, the low caps on demon souls and mythic essence. Trust me its cost me plenty too, but I can accept the need for it. It rewards active continuous play in diverse parts of the game, and punishes people who try to cherry pick the most valuable/profitable things. Extermination meter helps with that too, because since then it's become a lot better to clear whole maps to keep the meter up than just bouncing about killing champs. Unfortunately there's a lot of people who aren't smart enough to work that out yet and those people ruin it for everyone including themselves lol

I’ve always cleared a single room to farm supers and champs for hours. I rarely bounce thru for just the blues and reds. That is why this annoys me so much because I cannot do it anymore.

I agree with this, How is it justified to reduce points after 1k…. Doesn’t make any sense apart from getting scammed.

It doesn't feel like a scam to me. I wish I could donate souls though as I always have too much and play with people who never have enough.
