Database error when uploading image attachments on forum

Quite embarrassed to say I saved a screenshot with the intention of uploading it to this thread... d'oh!

When I'm in the upload files dialogue, I choose a file and click upload and get a javascript popup saying '<p>Database error</p>'

What have I broken this time?

Oh, ha I got a load of db error emails and wondered what was going on. This forum is shot, we need to update it.
