Crash and computer freeze on my computer

Hi to all. I hope i'm writing on the right section... when i play mir on my computer(windows 10 64bit) i have a frequent freeze or my computer is restarting automatically or a bluescreen with watchdog timeout error. I read that this may caused by wrong driver but i have only this error with mir client. I run for a lot of time a cpu stress and gpu stress test with no problem, ram test is ok to and my ssd to. My gpu driver is updated. So i would like to know if someonecan tell me if the client run using opengl or direct3d so i can run specific stress test. I love this game but is so frustating to see your pc freeze during a boss hunting . sorry to all for my bad english. Best regards to all.

Try the optimisation steps in this thread ( https://thelegendofmir.com/forum/threads/43067-How-to-Connect-to-The-Legend-of-Mir ) and see if it makes things any better for you. Mir only runs on a single core of your CPU so it is unlikely to be your GPU driver or GPU itself causing the problems but if I remember correctly sound card drivers have caused issues for people in the past so that could be a good place to look.

Failing that I would suggest deleting the game files and running the auto-patcher from scratch again, making sure to give it full admin access with your anti-virus either disabled or the folder you are downloading the game into set as an exception to make sure you are definitely not missing any files. If these steps don't work update this thread and I'm sure someone else will be along with some more advice!

If you’re getting that blue screen of death I would probably think about getting new Pc . That’s never a good sign . And probably nothing to do with Mir .

Disabling AMD Turbo boost from bios seems to be the soluction. I hope i had resolved that problem. Thanks to all for the help

I have had this happen also 3 times this week mir completely locks up my pc unable to Tab out, press windows key nothing cpu maxed out and memory
