If I understand things correctly, the daily income resets at midnight but the treasury gets transferred from castle to Guild at 3am.

The castles must have maxed out their income between midnight and 3am and so were unable to earn any more "today".

What should happen now is at midnight castles will be able to earn more gold which will get transferred to Guilds at 3am..
