Arcamon Pet System
Welcome to the world of Arcamon!
Mir Arcadia features a brand new, vastly diverse, and highly customisable companion system that allows players to build and develop their own personal pet into something of a master piece. Whether you need a tank to take some hits, a steamroller to clear the halls, or a power-house to inflict devastating damage against the numerous bosses, this brand new system will allow you to forge your companion to suit your style of play.
"They always run away..." - Scorpian
During your travels you may come across several monsters that will show different behaviours to their brothers & sisters, keep your eyes open... Arcamon can be around every corner.
Predominantly, the land of Arcadia (accessible from the Portal Stones) is home to many Arcamon you will encounter. However, many Arcamon reside within caves and dungeons - ever wary of hunters, they will not stand around and just let you capture them... that would be too easy. However, local hunters have told stories that the active camouflage effect from the ClearRing can be worn to allow you to capture your prey with ease - while this effect can elude some Arcamon, you may find some which are not so easily fooled.
Arcamon Stats & Food
Your Arcamon pets have a variety of different stats which need to be considered when you are building them, such as:
Stats influenced by food consumption multiply your pets base stat values. (Your pet's base stats will increase after each level automatically, regardless of food consumption)
For example: If your pig has 150HP with 0 Vitality, when you add 3 Vitality, your Pigs' base HP will increase x3. (150HP x 3Vitality = 450HP)
Your pets' lives can be replenished by visiting the PetShop in Woomyon Wall, for a price. The various food items found in the world consist of different stats to suit your play styles, or if you wish to feed them anything just to level them up! Here's a list of food items you will find throughout your travels:
For the first 30 levels, (XS) food items are the best to get you started quickly.
Pet levels after level 30 will require larger quantities of food to progress. The food requirements are as follows:
(S) - Level 60 Maximum / (M) - Level 90 Maximum / (L) - Level 120 Maximum
The stats of food for the incrementing portion sizes will be half of the XS amounts.
For example:
MeatSoup(XS) = Vit: 8 | Str: 6 | Dex: 6 | Def: 6 | Intel: 4
MeatSoup(S/M/L) = Vit: 4 | Str: 3 | Dex: 3 | Def: 3 | Intel: 2
Arcamon Evolution
Many Arcamon you will encounter in the world, have the ability to evolve into stronger variants of their former selves - often adapting new abilities, transformations and increasing their strength. Keep your eye out for Evolution Stones, some of your Arcamon have the ability to transform into stronger variants with the help of an Evolution Stone.
Arcamon & Evolution
Here is a list of the current Arcamon in game (23-06-2015) and their Evolutionary stages:
Grey Name - Does not require an Evolution Stone
Green Name - Requires a Green Evolution Stone
Yellow Name - Requires a Yellow Evolution Stone
Blue Name - Requires a Dragon Evolution Stone
* - Evolution Stones can be used on your Arcamon at any level to evolve them to their stronger variants.
Notice some Arcamon have branching paths of evolution. I.e. the Ant type Arcamon, for example, evolves into the Fighter Ant and then has the choice of three different evolutionary pathways. In order to achieve certain evolutionary pathways, the appropriate Evolution Stone must be used on the Arcamon before the branching evolution state in order to ensure the intended evolution is invoked. So with the Ant Arcamon in this example, the stone must be used on the Fighter Ant before it reaches the stage of evolution.
Many rare and unique Arcamon can be found also, their abilities and base attributes are much stronger than standard Arcamon.
