Arcamon for leveling

Hi,

Are any of the arcamon considered good for leveling, or do they just die a bit too easy?
Yim is out of the question obviously.

In my experience all arcamon die too quickly to be really useful when levelling at any kind of pace. I mostly use mine as a distraction if I accidentally lure a bit more than I can handle I'll spawn my arcamon to take the focus off me allowing me to escape safely

Yim is out of the question obviously.

What class are you?

As a tao I find ReptileHunter very good for lvling as it stays out of the main lure and shoots poison arrows in. OmaWing is similar to this.

FlailWolf and Ent can be good but require a bit of healing as they like to get in the mix.

Dark Hog and Ent seem fairly solid for arcamon but what class you are does a make a big difference to what pet you want.

If you're a wiz that hunts without pets then they are pretty useless except to get you out of trouble as Zade said
If they are used as a sixth pet they are handy. Not just because of the obvious damage getting shared around 7 but because when they die they are an early warning your pets are getting hammered a bit too much. (I tend to use Jungle Ape or Ent)

On Tao I tend to buck the trend and go for tanky pets as Ele is already annoying enough for getting in my way and the last thing I want is another pet luring things out of my lure! Now that my own pets rarely need a heal I tend to just let the arc pets die and bring out another rather than waste time healing. (I use Flailwolf or Ent mostly)

I always carry a Khazard in case I run into a boss. If you are wall killing on a wiz then a Saleem spider or Winged Oma can be handy

No idea for war tho sorry other than khaz for bosses

All Arcamon need either a HP boost or some defence stat boost and yeah i've tried creating these both as tanky high HP and high defence stats still no use for leveling when on a warrior as the lack of other pets mean they simply get battered and even on Tao they take a beating on wizs can get away with when you already have 5 pets tamed etc.

As somebody already mentioned.. these pets are only good for distraction.. other than that it slows you down trying to keep it alive when lvling.. best states to go for is defence and hp. u want them to last long while you get your sht ready..

They're worth collecting, having a nice mix of them in your bag is good so you can just whip out for more DPS, or use a Yimoogi to take the heat.
They probably benefit tao more because you can heal them, out of all my pets I like the YellowFoxman best because it stays at my back like the Elemental so I have 2 melee and 2 ranged pets. I will have to try get hold of a RepilianHunter if anybody can advise me where to get one lol!

I most definitely would never advise you to level your arcamon with the food from the gg shop, unless you're just impatient it is a complete waste of money and you'll be disheartened when your pet continually gets smashed and you've spent over 1k GG levelling it. Feed it specific food by all means necessary, but the GG food is just a waste imo.

higher your class , higher the pet level ie @ 169 tao my main pets 50k heatlh andpet attack goes higher... as a tao i look for high sc and soul attack. i might be corrected but same across classes warrior dc/py attack.. wizz mc /magic attack this will increase your pets attack level

I just spawned yim, checked it's stats, took off weapon, checked it's stats, killed and respawned yim, checked it's stats. Yim was the exact same on all 3 checks

Hes obviously checking his tao pets as they do go off your SC, and making assumptions for the rest of it
