Any ideas for extra uses of gamepoints?

Just wondering if anyone else has stockpiled a shed load of these and has any cool ideas for something to use them on

Exchange GPS for gameshop items or gamegold. Or an npc that exchanges for gamepoint kit. Ie frost guard helmets etc.
Or maybe a buff scroll.. Ice or fire resist 100% for say 180 minutes.

Should have the option of buying gg consumables with gp, but with big exchange rate like 20:1

For example
100% exp pot 20gg or 400gp
10% 3 hour torch 5gg or 100gp
rev scroll 10gg or 200gp
etc...

^ with that in mind though, maybe enforce consumables purchased with gp to be locked to character, otherwise you'll just end up in the old situation of people camping noob bosses on store chars to generate stocks of stuff to use on their mains, we need to avoid that kind of thing being encouraged so that noob bosses are left for noobs to enjoy

Also think GPS specialist kit is a good idea. Maybe special amulet with addition health or resistance to some elements, or MC, dc, sc, buff
 
I'd love to be able to transmog , 1k gamepoints to change look of your arm / wep but i know this probs has alot of issues with it. Maybe if u can only change the look to similar arms e.g if u have a annihilation arm u can change look to vanquish arm or u have a 150 war arm u cant make it look like holy crystal , only other 150 arm's

Dope idea on the gg shop stuff but i feel alot of ppl would be buying less GG lol

Armour idea is great but would you get extra stats? Or just makes it look pretty. Maybe better use would be to buy guild items. Recall set for example. Can be used by any guild member but guild bound and not for sale.
 
im against u getting extra stats , what ever stats the armour u originally had would be the stats u get after transmog , just for the aesthetics :p
 
I don't think it should be possible to use GP to gain any advantage that you couldn't get any other way, such as unique items/pots or improving existing items, as that just serves to widen the power gap between highest levels and new players. A lot of the game is focused around allowing new players to get caught up, and such an idea goes against that concept.

If GP are to be given new uses, they should be matters of amusement or convenience. I like the transmog idea, and I'm actually on the fence about my own idea of using them for gg consumables. Another thought would be introducing more mob clothes like we used to get in mystery cave. I'd happily pay 1k GP for an OmaGuard(M) !

Ohh another idea! Itemless tele/recall.

If you @move without a tele ring on, it will still work but will cost you 100 GP, and if you @recallgroup without a recall set on it will cost you 500 GP
This functionality could be enabled/disabled with a command or a tick box somewhere
Useful for emergencies, such as me last night in my semi-sleep-deprived state when I died on warrior and dropped tele, instinctively hit TT then jumped on wiz to go tele back and get it, only to then remember I'd just dropped it on my warrior :D

Or maybe make GP used for to buy tameable pets like hulk?
 
Create a sunday event cave just like baal/diablo ppl will spend GP on. 2PM UK time every sunday. It won't clash with LMS. Recreate mystery cave or something like that. =)
