Getting Nothing From Gold Easter Egg

Hi there, Has anyone been getting nothing from golden easter eggs? I just had one that dropped nothing. Not sure if that's a bug or i am just incredibly unlucky? Seems pretty brutal for spending 20gg especially when you need a bunch to get elysian ore...
