Simple way to achieve this is to add a small flinch at the end of the push, like with what can happen with ShoulderDash

I can see your point however it was always a perk of reaching a higher level, has something specifically changed / is it flaring up in certain locations?

Its used to grief on daily event maps to farm ore. Small group of the highest lvl players on the server can basically bully every daily events like SHIP. Just sucks the fun out the game when your killing a boss and then you get repped off it and told to go cry…. Its pathetic behaviour (if you want the boss then pk and go yellow) but its behaviour thats allowed to happen due to a bias mechanic

I get that it’s frustrating when you lose a boss, but let’s be honest here we all went through the same thing. When I was lower level, people dashed me too. That’s part of the progression. Instead of calling it griefing, I leveled up, geared up, and competed back.

People didn’t reach top level by accident we spent time, effort, and real money to get there. If higher level, hero buffs, and gearing don’t give any advantage, then what’s the point of leveling at all? Hero buffs already stop at 205, so why keep pushing if everything must be equal?

The dash system isn’t new or recently added it’s been in the game for a very long time. Just because something doesn’t go your way doesn’t mean it’s griefing or bias; it’s part of the competitive design of the game.

If the goal is zero interaction and zero risk, then the game should just be full PvE. Otherwise, leveling up has to matter. Another option is simple too: level up and compete.

Daily events are meant to be challenges, not guaranteed rewards. If every mechanic that creates competition gets removed, then there’s no challenge left at all.

Not for a second saying higher lvls shouldn’t be able to rep people below them. Part of the point of lvling…
The thread is about why a spell doesn’t cause agro…
If you want to push someone away from something it should cause agro…
If I go to the playground and keep pushing your kid away from kicking a football, you would be fking livid (and rightly so) yet if I go the the play ground and punch ur kid in the face then you would come pk me (and rightly so)

Make the spells cause agro…. What’s so hard

Or make the weekly challenge maps pve. What we have now is an exploitable loop hole. Personally I think if you do a daily challenge and you want to be able to fight for a boss you fight!! You don’t just rep someone off cos your a higher lvl. Man the fk up…. Oh wait all you know what to do is say qqqqq

Warrs can’t rep / push people without causing agro can they?? Make it fair

Are you alright ? Like genuinely? How are you even comparing repulsing someone on a computer game to punching a kid in the face or pushing a kid ? Honestly that says so much about you.

As for the warrior can’t push people without causing aggro there’s one simple reason to that it cause damage repulse does not.

Take a moment and don’t respond in anger.

The only way I see round it is if battle charge removes the flinch damage it causes.

And before you respond with some sort smart ass comment trying to say there no difference between the 2. 1 would get you put in jail for a very long time the other is nothing more then a tactic in a COMPUTER game a very annoying tactic yes but that’s all it is a tactic.

Genuinely as a father I hope your comment gets removed because that’s quite honestly disgusting.

Warrior normal dash works the same way no aggro. That’s not a loophole, that’s the mechanic. Anyone can test it.

And honestly… dragging kids and playgrounds into a discussion about game skills is just embarrassing. We’re on a Mir forum, not a parenting class.

If you don’t like the system, say that. But using family analogies doesn’t turn an old, well-known mechanic into an exploit.

Have you ever heard of a metaphor?

Anyone with an ounce of sense can clearly see that he isn't comparing them or saying they are equivalent in any way

It's simply pointing out an an extreme example of the concept to make the point clearer, but you knew that and didn't care, and just wanted to act dumb so you could complain about it

@ali, best to just post things like this on the ask an admin board in future. GM can read it there and you won't get people deliberately pretending to misunderstand your point just to cause an argument

a metaphor that involved mentioning a kid ?
If he would have said “if kept I pushing you away from a football” that’s a perfectly fine “metaphor”.

Was it his kid that repulsed him? No so that “metaphor” holds no meaning.

One thing I always stand on is when people want to mention kids it has no place in a game.

But you do you.

I was raised with something called respect clearly some wasn’t.

It was a bold comment to make a point and attract attention and indeed is a metaphor. Using a school playground is perfect as lets face it, most ppl act like giants kids on mir..... Apologies if its caused any offence to anyone.

Holytao see it as the way it was meant, your reaction and wording clearly shows to the world your trying to antagonise and nitpick like a left wing numptie.

Andy / warda, you have seen the case made, upto you guys now. please close thread as doubt anything constructive will be added
