They say Grulk was not born – he was unearthed. Chained in the age of burning skies, he drags his own prison across the Badlands, waiting for the day his fetters fail.

The Badlands – Summer Event 2026

Teleport to the arid desert province of the Badlands for this year’s summer event on Arcadia.

Starts Friday 7th August 10 am BST

Badland Event Details

The great outdoor expanse of the Badlands is open to all Heroes who are daring enough to explore it. There are further caves with monsters tailored for different level groups.

Private Hunts and Boss Spawning

Venture to Rimrock Mountain or the Far Oasis for a relaxed hunting experience. These secluded grounds offer peace and privacy, away from the pressures of other players.

Collect Scarab Shells for entry or use GameGold enter up to 5 times per day. Upgrade 3x Small Scarab Shells to 1x Large Scarab Shell using your inventory upgrade.

As with Dungeons and Dragons 2026 there is no special loot or special spawns in the private caverns. All drops inside are from the main event monsters themselves.

Enter the Lair of the Desert and summon the Dune Champion for you and your companions by collecting FuTalisman.

Release Grulk from his shackles!

Join forces and descend into the sandy prison of Grulk, the Bound Tyrant. Should the titan eventually fall, watch out for a plague of Warpworm, ready to teleport you to a far away hunting ground.

I understand it’s going to piss some people off, but to me, it actually makes sense.

Most people will probably find the time to do 5 caves a day, whereas others simply might not. Those who have all day to play, along with vast amounts of GG to spend on unlimited attempts, would have a huge advantage — especially considering this event was really a last-minute addition.

This keeps things much fairer and gives everyone a more level playing field, IMO.

The only thing I disagree with is having no upgrade items dropping if that’s the case.

but now the ones who do play all day will just hog the high level caves and boss as normal making it hard for anyone else to get a chance of anything decent

why keep limiting private caves? that is why so many people keep leaving game
Maybe because he doesn't want to have to increase the lvl cap again.
Maybe because this is his way of trying to bring balance to the game rather than it being pay to win.
Maybe he just wants to piss everyone who doesn't like it this way off.
Who gives a f*** just enjoy the game for what it is a game!

well said mate, I could not agree more

I think its fair like that for those players nowdays , and im talking as player used to collect gg between events and spend about 10k 15kgg each event to compete , to be from top lvl ranking , which ofc over the effort done to collect the gg etc , its deserved

however dont think the most casual players and other mid tier compeition players could do this atm , so after all , i think it gives sense so grinding and competition based over all not from 1 event u can get the lvl , items and runes which encourage players to grind , play the game and get out of safe zone. I also think he wasnt planning to make this event this year but he done it to cheer some players , and prob more coming in next hallowen .
