Question Private Cave Not Reset

I think I may be the only person on the server who is unhappy at the fix 😂

Silly me for planning a weekend away after the event was over 🤨
 
I have been using my chips up yesterday. I had about 50 M chips to use. I had drake in my private caves on 3 occasions, I had originally thought they'd been left out, with every other type of dragon showing its face during the main event dates. Still no way of incubating it unless you pay GG to get incubation oil and fungus from shop. I have already done the quest and got one for a pet.

Scorp has now sorted it and we have it until the weekend now as compensation for the oversight.
Not all of us where as lucky as you then.
Only dragons I saw other than Godzillas in all the GG caves I done is the blue long one, the fact that you can only incubate with GG items makes it mutually beneficial for players and GM if you have to spend to hatch it.
I'm not asking for compensation I was asking for a goodwill gesture wasn't expecting anything but like I said if you don't ask you don't get.
 
Hear me out—we’re all a bit naive when it comes to this.


I started playing Arcadia in October 2023, and I’ve spent thousands on events to reach level 205. Yet now, from what I can see, there are new players who started as recently as this Easter and are already close to level 190. At this rate, it won’t take them long to pass 200+, which took me nearly two years to achieve.


Whilst I appreciate that we all have the choice to play and to purchase GameGold, I do strongly feel that those who have invested considerable time and money into the game deserve to be rewarded—and I don’t mean myself specifically, but the wider group of long-term, committed players.


I haven’t been playing as long as some, but I genuinely feel for the players who have invested years into building their level and gear, only for someone new to come along, play a single event, and end up on par with them. That doesn’t feel right.


I’ve reached the Heroes League three times, only to have it taken away each time. I’ve just managed to reach it again, but honestly, it feels temporary. It raises the question—what are we actually working toward? We’re encouraged to keep playing, keep spending, and yet it often feels like it leads nowhere.


There needs to be a better system in place. Progression and loyalty should mean something. Certain perks should remain tied to long-term achievement, not just short-term gains.


Take Zade, for example—he’s contributed tirelessly to the forums and community and has been playing far longer than I have, yet I’ve already surpassed him. That highlights the issue perfectly.


At the end of the day, it feels like we’re stuck in a loop—constantly chasing progress, only to end up back where we started.

This is pretty much it. I think the server is a little far gone and skewed now.

Skull island had people at 180 by the end of the event and as a casual player I took a lot longer to reach that.

Small minority gatekeep everything in game and dictate the prices.

It’s a me problem mainly. I’d like to see a slightly different take with a fresh server. Introduce a battle pass type subscription for a season, could be 4 to coincide with spring, summer, autumn, winter events. Where in essence the thing that denotes how well you can do and achieve isn’t just time.

Those at the top already used unlimited GG caves to get there. Adding mythic to your items was cheaper, socketing was cheaper. So in essence whilst incredibly well meaning, the changes actually widen the gap.

A server needs to make money to make it worthwhile I get that. I took a step back as there was no way to actually progress without playing 4-5hrs a day or spending a fortune on gear and pots.

This has been the best server since the likes of chronicles and to me remains the best there is.

I can confirm they aint dropping, i need 27 (Completed 24) - 3 Caves no Fire Crystals dropping. I need 4 more to Spawn ><
