Yeah I don't understand the announcement the morning before the event .gm always does must be some kind of method to the madness ?
 
Common andy this.sneaking cash for gg caves seems pointless the buzz.is gone now wen I can't use it on gg caves 5x gg caves a day is bs was gonna buy more today🤣🤣
 
Everyone I spoken to had been waiting for this event to make Elysian orbs/ sources an we can’t even do that.
9 hours hunting I haven’t seen a single Easter egg nor a single lava lavae. Bought loads of gg and can’t even use it. Bulshit event everyone can’t see any point in playing this event.
 
I was late to the party and saw all the complaints and thought oh no it's a disaster. Then I played a couple hours and had a whale of a time. Had a bunch of lava larva and loads of eggs, and not even touched gg caves yet. Everyone needs to relax a bit lol

I've found at least 10 lava larvae and 2 gold eggs and 6 silver.
Also got me a pet snake and an Ely pre from 1 of the gold eggs
 
The EXP is really good at my level of 202 in both GG caves, so I can see why it's probably capped, it's simply because most people will be level 205+ after then event with it being on so long and with insufficient game content after this, it kinda makes sense.

So much needs to happen, new Gems/Orbs, Revs, Paras etc and game content for higher levels.

I don't agree with no rares dropping though, I'm like 17 Elysian Ore short of an Orb and have been waiting specifically for this event to try complete the task.

And how the fuck do you upgrade to Pure Phoenix?

Best be able to upgrade, can do Elysian and Arctic without the rest surely!!

Tbh I was bored shitless after doing 10, doesn't feel like there is anything to achieve.

Kinda hoping Andy can explain Pure Phoenix so I get an urge to push through it.
 
Some will some won’t, similar to other events some will pay gg for caves and some won’t., again their decision. This event there’s no choice for people who perhaps don’t have time normally and want to pay gg to get a decent boost.

what about the casuals who don't donate and are forced to hunt the normal caves every event, do you ever see them moaning like you guys?

i don't think you realise over the recent years how OP and broken GG caves was, now its basically become a necessity every event to keep GG spenders happy, get a grip guys, the server needs to be bought more in line between GG donaters and Casuals IMHO or nothings even going to change=

It's people who haven't thought it through or given it a chance. I'm not gonna deny being 'one of those' but I'm not complaining because it really is fine, here's what I'll be doing

Bear in mind it's 5x 10gg cave, plus 5x 20gg cave, per char, per day
10gg cave to get extermination meter up - 3 mins to clear
TT and quickly jump into 20gg cave - 8 mins to clear
Then 4 mins to clear bag
Thats 15 mins
Do that 5x = 75 mins
Do that on each of my 3 main chars = 225 mins of gameplay before I've even touched a free cave, round it up a bit to 240 because people will chat with me while I'm going along
Then do the dinraal scale cave when the guild is ready (90 mins)
Thats 5.5 hours of gameplay per day without even touching the free main caves that everyone is so worked up about
And even if I do go the free caves... I was in the free caves for about 2 hours yesterday with a few guild mates and we had a great time, the exp and drops were slower yes, but at no point did we run out of mobs, and we found loads of easter eggs which gave us some nice materials including elysian ores as well as other upgrade items and socket items. Also a bunch of lava larva that I'm saving up because they get you extra private caves that I'll be using during the lunar cycle

I'm really finding it hard, as a gg spender, to see exactly what the complaint is here

Just seems like people aren't trying...

you won't find it difficult, 90% of the time in the events they haven't even been bad.

Just now people are so used to GG caves and instant easy XP they forgot what it was like back when this wasn't a thing.

i personally think its a great change and should stay this way going forward.
