Well spotted! The server IP changed quite a while ago, probably was never updated on LOMCN

Hey, this is because LOMCN decided they would charge a monthly fee to GMs who wish to have their user count displayed, and the ones who do not pay have the "?" there.

Scorp actually said it would do p69 a favour by not showing the user count, and that is likely why, out of spite, they show Archons and P69 for free, because they are dead.

You can type @who ingame

Curious, thanks, didn't know, have been paying (for Arcadia) for years but don't keep an eye on it..

I made the point that the user-count display (in a ranking form) is primarily for the benefit for the end user and not the server owner. Seeing big number is great for the first few months of a server launch but after that you are paying to display a figure that is subpar. Was happy to support them though hence paying for Arcadia

Using the LOMCN and Zade-mir.com and comparing user count. Arc is 103 right now and the highest server there is 170. That definitely benefits you so if you're paying you want that number reflected. It's good to see how well Arcadia is holding up compared to the fresh servers, puts them to shame really. And you always get the stalls comment thrown in but really there aren't half as many stalls as they used to be before AH was introduced.

Easy way to answer the question about stalls is the fact that the stalls pretty much don't change 24/7, so when you're seeing 70-80 user count at 4am uk time when server is very quiet, and seeing 100-110 user count most evenings and peaks of 120-130, sometimes 150 during wars, you can get a good idea of how many active players there actually are

Most people also make use of the account perks and don't have multiple accounts anymore either. So that doesn't inflate the user count as bad as it used to do as well.l
