The higher-level bosses need to be made more attractive to kill. One easy solution - just take the HP rune out Ikus drop files .
Your words paint a realm where shades of gray mingle with the black and white. I concede, frustration clouded my judgement, and a more graceful handling was within reach. For this, I offer my apologies.Easiest solution is just to be nice to someone who got the boss first, ask for help/group. Not just throw disgusting profanities and threatens to quit the game because he can't have the boss all to himself. I'm all for sharing drops/boss but he came at me very rude in the beginning.
I've talked to someone about what is Somango's deal and the dude who I spoken to told me that he's actually was willing to help Somango to get the book he needs but got turned down. He's been offered help but does not want to because he said that he can handle it himself. Now look what happened, denying the helping hand and posting this thread like some kind of a victim.
You're a victim of your own actions, drop your pride and ego. There is nothing wrong from accepting people's help..
problem is gold, people have resorted to noob boss farming as an income stream (with chance of runes)
This is a direct side effect of GM messing with the economy and not balancing it
I know gold needed a nerf, but look what people are resorting to! Which in effect will nerf new players.
Needs to be addressed some how
As I said, gold needed a nerf, item price needed to be sorted, my point is people will always try find the easiest way to make gold and unfortunately noob bosses and the 8 zt witches are the easy way right now, both need addressing imoThe re-evaluation of item prices is not the issue (a natural response to the increased rate of item drops which were disproportionate to their rarity).
Primarily it is a result of the noob progression update last June which increased all drop rates on lower level monsters (up to 10x) so that there was appropriate drops to accommodate faster levelling. This is what led to easy farming of lower level bosses and the market flooding with gold.
Resolving this (sensitively) is what will help nudge players into other territories
I recognize you and hold you in esteem, your reputation preceding you, even as a newcomer.
In my days of traversing the Euro MIR, XP was the elusive treasure, and countless forays into a cave would yield rare spoils. Here, one jaunt through a cave bestows enough XP to outgrow it, perhaps after 3-4 ventures at level 140, but scarcely enough to garner any notable drops. This conundrum leaves players haunting areas they've surpassed in pursuit of elusive drops.
What skills do you acquire young adventurer? I would be happy to bestow upon my leather purse full of gold trinkage to source these mythical magic balls of fire and ice that yield from the sky for you.
I paused my ascent at level 130 post-Christmas event to acquire skills, only to find myself at 140 still skill-starved. I could surge to levels 150-160 and overpower the fledgling bosses, but that, in my eyes, is the crux of our problem.
Is the essence of our game to outlevel and then effortlessly vanquish bosses with a single strike for books or runes? Or resort to the mercantile solution of buying them outright?
tl;dr: Respect you as a player with a reputation. Unlike euro MIR, here you outlevel caves too fast to get drops, leading to overleveling areas for drops. At level 140 and still missing skills. Questioning if the game is about overpowering bosses easily for drops and forcing new people to just buying books.

Me any plenty others offered him books and he straight up refused them. He'd rather everyone just stays away and let's him have Iku to himself for a few weeks until it drops. That’s the 4th top tier player to offer their help and still knocked back lol what else can anybody else now do. Maybe if accepting support from the community we might see an epic win for the EpicFailedWizard
I appreciate that and I agree for the most part. I explained to him in pm that I strongly commend his style but remind him it's also a team game, and accepting a bit of help from time to time in specific cases doesn't detract from the overall experience. The fact that ike is always camped by loads of higher level players is one such hurdle, there's no shame in skipping it by taking a simple handout. The book he needs has been in my bag since Tuesday. If he wants it he can have itI think the only reason hes refusing is because hes trying to make the point of he’s original post where as he would like to hunt on a fair playing field on hes level, us giving him what he needs is nice but all it does is gloss over the fact hes unable to obtain what he needs via the intended route, which i agree with and i commend him for not taking up the offers and sticking to hes guns, a formidable ally i shall be taking under my wing.
people being free to hunt whatever they like is what has caused this, iku has always been a targeted boss and tbh i have no clue why? ive not been to iku since i played project69 so im not too sure on what it drops but it does seem its camped an awful lot for such a low lvl boss, i dont understand what business high lvl players have at a 140 boss,I have decided to take a more positive approach to this subject in the sense that such a lucrative boss is available to all so early on in the game. He has slayed a Champion version, just been unfortunate with drops. Any of those Iku he has killed could have dropped something worth more value than the book and he could sell and raise funds to buy the book plus gear. Isn’t that what everyone does at every boss? Just keep killing them and hope to hit that jackpot. It’s like he’s decided to play his own version of the game and is then complaining about it.
If Iku drops are nerfed to deter high lvls (which it won’t) then who would that truly benefit? Only the server in my opinion. People are free to hunt whatever they like.
