Andy are you or can you look into the issue with window mode please.

Give you some idea when you load the game the patcher comes up. What used to happen when you click play the game then open window mode which I play and is a good big size. Now it stays at the same size as patch window.

Like I said before was fine before update.

What happens when you skip the patcher and just run the game directly?
 
Same thing happens. On other lappy I can only run in window mode any other way stretch’s screen beyond playable
 
Hmm I have just figured out that my exp bar has an issue too! But only when I try to check it underneath the chat box, either side it will show up my % and total exp rates

Also the NPC lag thing with the curser happens to me too, its still playable but there is definitely something going on that the game doesn't like
 
"Lag in shops" do you mean that because each item loads 1 by 1 now? Previously (like stalls) it all loaded in 1 go

Are you in Windows 10 also? Have you run in XP Compatibility mode? Have you tried Run as Admin?

If any of those make a difference please do say

The only way I can describe it is when I open an NPC for example to quick sell things, and as I move the curser from usually a high position to below to check Quick Sell, as my curser moves down the menu it feels quite draggy and sometimes will just jump to a position rather than smoothly glide through as it usually would.

Does it happen every time with the same shop or just in the first instance randomly?
 
I used to have this issue but i think changing compatibility mode on properties settings fixed it, I can't remember

I have only noticed it with the Peddlers, but other than that yes it is randomly and only ever on the first instance.

I can never be too certain that it is not my computer with some things, as it is a spare one that I'm using whilst the other one is being upgraded.
 
screen size is all to do th scaling below screen res settings. it must be on full scale settngs, not keep ratio in graphics dsplay
right click on screen to get to graphics display
