Still no karma fix..? | The Legend of Mir

Still no karma fix..?

Would like to mention that there's also a karma issue in p69, Currently we have a lot of PK on p69, and my guild went from 10 aura to -8 in like two weeks!

It needs tweaking, dont think its fair.

Thanks.

I had 1 kill at the last war over 3 weeks ago, have played pretty much every day since and my karma still isn't sorted.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that karma actually doesn't matter as much as people seem to think it does. Last week I cleared thunder pass / lava cavern on my tao (best possible karma) until my bag was full of chips and gems. Then went and did the same on my wiz (worst possible karma) and it took roughly the same time to end up with a full bag. Both chars have pretty much same drop rate (wiz 1 level higher) both with treasure stone, hunt elixers, and eradication weapon and kept extermination meter full the whole time

It's more the guild aura that's annoying, because we can't buy certain shields

Matters with Peddler prices dude and i definitely noticed the difference in Gem crafting and Scrolling, not so much on drops though, didn`t see a difference tbh

It does mate, it matters massively with drops, getting 3 things drop from dragons in Rdd with heroes buff and a drop pot lol, had literally a group full of witnesses to that

It’s literally why I haven’t been playing

It matters mate am trying to add my elysian boots belt brace every time i redo them i get shitty stats until i started to redo them in my lvl 80 stor i get better stats plus if you have bad karma there is alot of chance you to drop iteams when you die thats why people’s are not playing because there is no pk literally who wants to drop

I think getting player karma back is quite easy. It's just guild aura that is stuck. Tonight I will go on my tao (perfect karma atm) and pk one of my own store chars a few times to go red and ruin my karma, then I will hunt until it's perfect again and see how long it takes!

Karma deffo doesn't matter as much as people imply it does. It's wild how out of proportion this has got lol. It's a 100% Chinese whisper, an easy thing to blame for a bad run of form or lack of effort. Who genuinely cares about Karma? It means nothing.

It’s not a Chinese whisper at all, the change is massive, maybe you’ve been lucky with drops but I can assure you it makes a big difference, just because you may have fallen lucky doesn’t mean everyone else has

"Who geniunely cares about Karma" coughs of course DragonKarma certainly does :p

I don't think the usercount is that low.

Currently 82 players online (18 stalls)

Not too bad for a 10 year old server.
An average Monday in 2019 had lower user count than we have right now and people then we're saying server is dying. Here we are 5 years later, not any worse off, if anything there's more variety of caves and things to do than there was then. People can be so negative, and it's quite unjustified tbh

Woah didn't anybody tell you that you're not allowed to bring facts?

I think the server is doing ok usercount wise. Maybe Scorp could explore the option of making levelling easier for people that don't donate hundreds each month and continue focussing development hours on the amazing PVE content that has been added in recent years. Since Loki and RedDragon we have seen more and more content & bosses introduced with mechanics and needing specific stats to fight them.

One way to help in possibly closing this gap could be by bringing back the KnowledgeBroths that players under a certain level can use.

The pay wall is so big now it includes; gear, levels, skills & consumables. The amount of money and hours it takes to catch up is off putting.

KnowledgeBroths were never truly removed, they were just replaced with Resting Exp. Since everyone was always on the broths 24/7 anyway, Scorp just thought it made sense to remove them and give it to everyone automatically. That's literally what resting exp is. It worked really well, until he extended it to include higher levels too, which made no sense to me. Resting exp should be reduced from 180+ and be 0 from 190+. Then it's actually doing it's original purpose of being helpful for lower levels to catch up

Well, add them in on top of resting exp, wisdom gear, and all the other stuff that is already in place.

The game relies too much on the GameShop for regular players to actually play, it will still be geared towards the hardcore donators but people more likely to play if they feel they can catch up to the levels where it's worth spending money. That's my view, anyway.
