Slow pets

Why do arcamon and tao pets run so slowly? Is there any way to speed them up? Do they get faster as they level? Not managed to get a skelly past level 4 yet... (skill level 3) and shinsu looks impressive but adds little to the fight (skill level 2) what should I be doing?

Thanks

They don't get faster, but their power is linked to your SC. Get high SC and you'll find them getting quite strong

Also useful to level them before you go hunting in a low level cave so they are at max strength when you need them.

Thank you. I used to pre level pets before in old mir but found that eventually they would die and I would get annoyed and stop the hunt. Now I just push them out when I need to and use them as distractions, but having said that I don't know how strong levelled pets are in this version of mir yet perhaps I'm missing something.

Tao pets are a lot more tanky when levelled, they get a big increase in HP and HP regen rate which helps keep them alive, it's very noticeable

I got some black maggots from stone temple, the higher level ones. They're not as fast as they used to be. Shinsus and skellies don't keep up at all. I'm quite disappointed as I like to level with pets, but it seems pets are just something to have hanging around to clean up stragglers. I like to use them as tanks but they aren't fast enough to move with me. I don't suppose there'd ever be any plans to be able to increase move speed somehow?
