Inbetween there’s random weekends with increased exp which is also fun.
This idea would be something to replace a random exp weekend.
Event npc that give each char 1 event box (can’t be dropped traded ect ect) would only have the weekend to claim ur box and they would expire after 7 days.
Box gives you random perk! Ie goldfind +50% for 12 hours. Could have a few different ones, magic find, exp and so on. Would take a little time to set up for sure but once in games could just be turned on or off by gm similar to current exp boost.
Might give a little verity to mini events and adds an element of luck / chance to the whole thing which is always fun
