From a discussion in guild earlier does adding Holy to Tao kit actually make any difference?

I've had people telling me it strengthens spells such as TS and others saying it makes no difference whatsoever making Tanzanite and socketing a complete waste of money...

Has anyone actually done any testing?
 
Holy damage is ok but nothing like it used to be , your buffs used to scale off your holy damage alot more than it does now as well as your heals too, but now i think you would be much better off adding SC into your sockets as its just much better.

Unfortunately all of the Elemental sockets are kinda deadweight now as the +10 sockets and +1% Attack increase just blow em out the water tbh

Thanks for the feedback, would try for adding SC to the sockets but Soul Crystals appear to be non existent in game and do drop proportionately to the number of tao's who require them so not holding up much hope of seeing one lol...

Any other items that would be preferable to placing in sockets that may be more achievable?

When the Halloween maps open next Friday you will find that SC crystals drop quite frequently (at least it was like that in Halloween 2018 when I last played), this is also true for Christmas.

In normal everyday play I've found Naga Valley to be where I've had a few small DC/SC crystals drop, but I would say it's rather rare.
