Crafting mythic on unique items

Good update, glad the stuff isn't too cheap. It's all obtainable but takes a lot of effort to get.

Why does it matter if there's no gold for sale? For high level people who hunt efficiently you can make profit every time you go out, go and make gold and you don't need to buy any. I made 500 mil gold profit in last event in 2 days of levelling, there's definitely not a shortage.

Glad I can finally spend some of my mythic essence, still got mythics in store ready to salv because I was at cap. Wonder if that's gone up too. Looking forward to finding out :)

BTW, the amount of gold 'for sale' is low because for most people it's not worth selling, due to the stalls driving the price down. But I bet if you shout buying bars 30gg each a lot of people would suddenly find it worth selling.... There's plenty gold in the system

'this will decrease uc' - it will have exactly 0 effect on anyone except those who are at the top of the game and are making use of these features. A small minority
 
Yer nice that you’ve allowed it finally. I was gonna buy a load of gg before I seen how much it costs to do them. Hahahaha I mean is that some kind of joke???? I have to salvage 45-50 high lvl mythics to get enough essence to upgrade a cele bracelet LOL. That is far from obtainable for 95% of players. Thanks again zade for your positive inputs.

And then on top of that it cost 150mill lol.

Cele arm costs 1007 essence and 300mill gold lol.

There’s 0 gold left for sale. The amount of gold ingame cannot supply the demand for this new addition. Like I said I was about to buy a load of gg after that reboot but the prices of upgrades are so ridiculous I’m now not buying any.

You know from previous threads and discussions that having a craft-able mythic system was not something I personally ever wanted to do. It was not planned and there was not enough scope in the game to allow those power increments. It was a retro-fit brought on by increasing pressure from numerous players. As much as we try to resist this, sometimes we have to make exceptions especially when we think there can be a good opportunity to make a better game experience.

I think a good system was designed and is in thanks to a post from one of it's advocates (https://thelegendofmir.com/forum/threads/46438). I also think that once the dust settles and everyone understands the systems that this will provide good objectives for players over a long period.

Upgrading unique and rare items was not intended. However by this point and with the help of a bug, there was insurmountable pressure to make the changes. The only way we could see this working was by setting base costs so that 1) it is really difficult to do and 2) so that low level items could not be easily upgraded (eg Crystal set).

If low level items like that could be upgraded then you would overnight trash all the regular kits in game and turn their value into salvage.

Because of the base cost, the relative difference will be more reasonable at higher levels.


Do I think it costs a lot? Yes. But through grind and absolutely no GameGold it is achievable and will make a real impact to your kit.

From now on all items pretty much gonna be selling for gold.
 
I think the market for gold will increase which will always benefit the majority of the server rather than the people who can afford to donate, meaning I can’t see the UC dropping

Ok we see how it goes I spose. Hopefully the supply of gold will increase and people start to buy high value items for gold aswell as gg.
 
Just had a look at the stalls in arc and bw and found 65 bars for sale, and in AH there's another 63

"There's no gold in circulation" ¬¬
