Corrupt Chips dont drop in ZT maze why?

I know these corrupt chips dont drop in ZT maze but would it really be a problem if they did? i enjoy zt cave as its a nice chill area to hunt but i think chips should have a chance to drop from every mob in the cave.

If no, id like a reason why.

This can apply to all caves / chips that people spend hours and hours trying to find.
