CHM not leveling

My CHM isnt leveling its just staying on level 0 everything else levels when out hunting, is there a sercret to this or is this sounding like a bug

crosshalfmoon not gaining experience

Hi I have a Lvl 110 warrior and today i finally farmed crosshalfmoon, the skill is working but it is not gaining experience at all. the skill remains at lvl 0 with 0 experience. Does anyone know if it is a bug or there are some special condition to level this skill up?
