Just a quick notice that we will be trialling the latest upgrade to the Yimoogi Challenge tomorrow: Wednesday 26th at 6pm BST

Entry is for level 100+ and will cost 10 GamePoints


There will be a quick reboot earlier in the day
 
Will it be like euro mir?

Looking forward to it - I tried the challenge last 2 Saturdays - I can see how its harder for lower levels to join in and get a chance at the snake.
 
quick q as wont be home from work at 6 unfortunately but with the entry lvl being 100+ which is relatively low for the server, is this not going to be a pk fest with the higher levels killing to get a yim or am i missing something? Interested in seeing/hearing how it works...
 
No spoilers, but know that player drops are disabled inside challenge rooms so anyone within the requirements can join in without the risk of losing equipment.

Thanks to everyone who got involved, the teamwork was really good. Some of the reactions were hilarious at times, struggled to keep a straight face hah
Since this was only a trial run, we will keep you updated on what comes next.

Please could you make it a guild hunt cave rather than once a week. Same as rdd or bdd

If that was the case the exp per mob would need massively reduced, otherwise levelling would be even easier than it is now, and it's already too easy

I would love to see guildhunt caves like the diablo challenge that can only be completed once a week and the mobs don't respawn inside, you could make an exp one, a gold one, a boss one all with really abundant drops and take 4-5 hours of clearing but can be re-entered but only with the guild leader or something, 3 tiers of each for level ranges and difficulty. Whether that's even possible I don't know but it would be awesome.

Sorry mate I don't understand what you're saying/asking, can you elaborate?

If your worried about players leveling to fast slow the high end players down. Why shouldn't players be able to obtain hero's league. Seems funny that the only players moaning about leveling to fast are the players that are already there.. As per normal highest players moan about it being to easy and all the lower levels suffer. Example.. High level tao moan that it was to easy in crystal temple because he could confuse all mobs. So GM changed it, then said player moved onto another cave because mobs were to low, hence messing it up for the next set of players coming though. New yim cave exp is fine as it is. If you don't like the exp hunt somewhere else, but at least give others a chance.

You think high level players haven't been slowed down already? Exp is massively reduced every level once you reach heroes league. Look at DarkStyle, he's 176 and doing between 5% and 10% per day, the amount of mobs killed to achieve that would easily get him a full level every day at between 160-170. When heroes league was increased from 168 to 173, I was about 50% away from 173 and managed that in something like 6 hours, with no resting exp. I just can't see the argument that levelling is difficult or slow, it simply isn't, until you get to heroes league, then it does slow down a lot, but is still very manageable
