for thos of you who r unfamilar with open source handhelds its basicly a handheld consol like the ds that can run various emu's and homebrew ap's for example the "wiz" has the power to run gba,gb,gbc,neo geo,snes and other retro consoles as well as other open source games.

The pandora is still in development and will be the most powerful open source handheld which will be able to run Firefox3 or Quake3 and other consol emulations. its has a touch screen wifi and various other features.

This is not an advertisment just a heads up to people who enjoy playing retro games or w/e.

price is a little steep bt will be well worth it as it has the poitenal of running many programs/games etc.

abit of a strange market. not quite a laptop and not quite a small handheld like a touch/psp/ds

Sounds alright but I doubt its for me, might not be powerful enough as a small laptop and not as portable as a handheld console.

I like the idea that its trying to be as open as possible
